So awkward. I was in line at the grocery store behind an ex and not one word was said the whole time. Besides that my mom bought me spicy hummus, pad thai, tofu, pasta sauce, soy milk, crispy minis, cheerios, veggies and some other delicious food. Also, I was lurking my blog posts from last year and I came across this one:
I'm done summer camp and I miss Zahra, Irene, Kim, Alisson and others!
School starts soon.
I've recently taken up a vegan lifestyle. Katelyn hates me for it.
I spent a week at a cottage relaxing, cliff jumping, swimming, water tubing and other cottage like things.
I can't wait to go back to school.
LMFAO is playing our frosh week.
The important thing here is the vegan lifestyle. I've been considering taking this on again, but for good this time. Ever since I started dating someone who is vegan I have realized just how easy it can be. Last time I was completely unaware of what I could and and couldn't eat, so I basically ate a variety of nothing. I don't want people to think I'm doing it just for him though. It's clearly something I want to do if I tried before I even know him. The reason I became vegetarian in the first place is because I don't believe in cruelty to animals, whether that be the slaughtering of animals for meat, or the way animals are treated so that humans can have milk, eggs etc. I think that having at least one person in my life who is vegan makes it easier if I decide to take on this lifestyle. I don't think giving up animals products is too much to ask for from humans anyway, and I don't think it would be that hard for me. Considering I already drink soy milk, I hate eggs and everything else comes in soy/vegan (margarine, yogurt, cheese etc). As of the past 24 hours I have not consumed any animals products and I hope it's a start to something. Oh, and on that note I made the best vegan chocolate chip cookies today.
